The (odd-looking?) bouquet of flowers presented to each medalist on the podium – 1,800 in all – are all the same, made up of green spider mums with hypericum berries surrounded by leather-leaf fern, monkey grass, and aspidistra leaves.
What’s really interesting? They’re all made by Just Beginning Flowers, a non-profit company in Surrey that employs women who are just out of prison, abused, fighting addiction, or with special needs, and teaches them how to be florists.

painting in ONE DAY!!! all day, and had the blinds installed! SO GOOD!!! i love it!
First day… unorganized but successful! 
Thai massage mat for Thai massage and post stretching, and the shipment of yoga stuff comes in from New Jersey monday! (unfortunately the blinds are custom and are not installed until thursday). So wed and thursday we have… paper! I think we will be having jennifer teach our first yoga class Saturday morning at 9:30 on the 20th!
(walls still need to be painted, and art needs to be put up). There is a treatment room but it’s not what you are used to. IT’S WAY BETTER! I finally have a big room to work in and a place to stretch people out and do Thai after, I can so so much more! Looking forward to seeing you there!
